Flattening a board

I tried this trick to flatten a board that warped after glue up.

Wasn’t that the convex side? From the video it appears you sprayed the side that bows outward.

How can I flatten out a live edge coffe table I made out of pecan wood, I tried using clamps to force it down and it started to show a tiny crack and i immediately stopped it has a huge warp

Would it be curved again after awhile when moisture content in both sides are the same ?

I need to do thus with 4 pieces of 1x12x4. Would adding some weight along the top help? Or not necessary for my situation?
