Great Video! For everybody who wants to try this: Make sure that the two long rails are the same width and that the table you are working on is flat and has no windage. If the board isn't flat on the bottom side, make sure to shim it so it wont wobble.
Trust me... You want to make sure of that. I might know a guy who didnt think about that ;)

Although I have a 13 inch planer that really a big help but something like this works amazingly for larger pieces. It saves me time doing glue ups to fit the pieces through my planer etc

I’m starting in woodworking as a hobby and this idea saves me a lot of money since I don’t have to buy a plainer. I can get away with flattening and sanding.

Fab I made one that went on my router. Did the job. It all for the same size lenghs of wood pieces. Definitely making this well done. 🎉

I built one just like this. It took me a few goes to get the design right, but it works perfectly.
You just have to make sure that if you are planning something that is slightly bowed, that it is supported.

Silly question for a friend, if you needed to take off a lot of material, would you do this in stages, by making the rail height a bit shorter with each pass?
