Literally just screamed when the Husband came in, LOL!!! Was NOT expecting that. Loved the tip on the neck pillow thing.

I save my oldest underwear (has holes), socks, bras, and clothes. When I travel I wear them and throw them out. This leaves space for "treasues" on my return home trip. I also leave my toiletries before going home.

Omg, this is the best packing video I've seen on YouTube so far.

Retired 18z and lived in Europe for 13 years. I would trade the birkenstocks for a Teva type sandal that has a rear strap to hold it on. You can wear it into the water on rocky beaches, if you need to move quickly fire/theft/natural disaster/terrorism you will not run out of your sandals. Can be worn in the shower to prevent athletes foot. Works better on cobblestones and steps. Next item is a door wedge to prevent your hotel/air bnb door from being opened. Some come with an alarm. The last item is a small but powerful "tactical" flashlight for use in emergencies, power outage, stuck in elevator, natural disaster, checking for hidden cameras etcetera.

Wow! I’m really impressed by your packing skills and the black backpack, toilet bag, the other small black bag, and that sleeve you use. Excellent and thanks for your video.

You’ve probably helped so many people save money on baggage fees with these hacks!! Sincere thank you for helping those of us who could never seem to figure this out on our own😆

Very impressed. You’re the first travel YouTuber who has packed a small underseat bag. Am very impressed. For Poland soon I’m just taking an underseat bag. Much easier to lug from airport to Airbnb to train etc. 👏👏

The neck pillow idea is amazing! I'm going to try it on my next trip. Thank you!

This is brilliant, and the most useful travel video I've ever seen. You solved the carry on crisis. The spot under the seat goes with the ticket so there's no competition for anything. And in fact I'm going on a two week trip next month, and had planned to do it with just a backpack or my small duffle.

One of the best travel videos I’ve ever seen- thank you! I also happened to just have bought that backpack last week and look forward to using!

FLIERS BEWARE! Just flew Southwest( June 5, 2024)that neck pillow now counts as an additional item. You can now only have your carry on and personal item while boarding the plane, all other items with the exception of food we purchased at the food court and outerwear (ex. Jacket or sweater) were required to be in either your carry on bag or personal item. Of course this could change again, but as of now is the current rule for at least Southwest.

I was one of those weekly commute by plane guys, and not having to worry about not having overhead bin space remove 99% of the stress from flying

Thank you- this looks amazing! In my senior years I have struggles to lift my rolling suitcase on to the storage bins- this looks like just the ticket!

Good job on the clothing combinations, I’ll need to use that this summer….
I have used the neck pillow hack a few times. I used neck pillow from MUJI. This hack works best with light scarfs, packable light down jackets from Uniqlo or wind jacket. Try rolling wide and curving and stuffed like a long pillow filling into the neck pillow cover. It feels like a true neck pillow which I have used on the plane. Never fill the pillow with too many complicated pieces or anything visible under the security screen or else, they might need to ask u to open the pillow for inspection. When it’s too cold on the plane, take the thin down jacket out and keep my body warm.
I also pack a slim empty thermos on the side of the backpack. Fill it up after security so that I have water anytime I want.
Also, I did bring old undies, socks, toothbrush, worn out cosmetic brushes etc. and dispose of them at the end of the trip.
About toiletries, I used couple of contact lenses storage cases to fill the numerous lotion, cleanser, cream, suntan lotion, mosquitoes repellent, toner and labeled them on the cover. These cases are supposed to hold contact lens solution and won’t spill! After the trip, easily washable and waste only a little residue.
I do think that nowadays, we need an electronics packing cube to store adapters, cables, power banks, headphones, travel wall plug, etc.
My objective is to pack light and efficient, not to aim at putting the bag to sacrifice any leg room though…. But if it ended up needed to be on the floor, I usually fold n pack a thin plastic bag which can wrap the whole backpack to be put on the filthy floor…. And can be dispose of after the flight.

As a business traveler (2-3 weeks at a time, suits etc). I really appreciate you suggesting under the seat for this kind of traveler. I always check in my suitcase and a small rucksack for laptop etc. if everyone travelled like you or like I do. There would be no fight for the overhead storage.

Really doesn't matter how long you go for. One weeks clothes are enough and... use the laundry. Like you do that home 😊. Thank You for showing us the neck pillow 👋👋
