The NOCO GB70 jump starter is a great compact unit that got me out of a situation. Im hoping that in the long term it will keep its charge and help out again, even if its not for my own car battery.

I appreciate that you show the car is dead before you hook up the jump starter. Some people don’t and it’s not as impressive.

The GB70 is a champ - well built, powerful, yet compact. It’s a solid investment.
I’ve helped out many motorists who would’ve been waiting several minutes for roadside assistance, yet it only takes a couple minutes to unpack, boost, and return to its packaging.
Two of the six vehicles I’ve boosted were big V8’s.

OMG THANK YOU FOR SHOWING TO HOLDDD THE BUTTON IF ITS COMPLETELY DEAD!!! the main vid from the brand didn't mention that part, it's 115 degrees here in Vegas and over 130 in the dang highlander with the battery in the trunk since it's a hybrid and the trunk door won't open since needs power, and couldn't get this thing to work till your video PHEW

I have the 3000A. Absolutely love it. I have 5 cars including few classics. Sometime batteries goes completely dead. and this can revive it without problems. And most of my cars are big V8, this NOCO has no problem turning them over.

Your video really helped me. I could not figure out why I wasn't getting a charge and your advice on holding down the (!)button did the trick. Thanks again I've subscribed to your channel.

You are amazing because a lot of other channels weren’t as specific about those features. 😊

Omg! You are my hero. This is my first car and I have no idea how it works and am prone to leaving on the lights. There were no instructions, so you video was a good send! Thank you!

I have a GB70 that is amongst the best purchases I’ve ever made. I accidentally ran the battery down on my SLK350 (schoolboy error) so bought the Noco. Blimey, it started as if it was fully charged. In the bin with the antiquated jump leads! 👍👍👍

Great Video, You know Noco makes a rapid charge that works with either the GB70 or GB150. Also, Noco has a memory saver you can use as well.

Just a reminder that any bare metal acts as a ground.

I forgot what the red button does. Thanks for sparing me the expense of a new battery.

Just got one and my car seems completely dead. When connecting the Noco it gives me the polarity error light but it's connected correctly... Not sure why it's doing that

When I came across your video. I was shocked. To get my car started, I should press the (red in circle !) button. I had no idea about it. I want to express my gratitude for sharing the video. Thank you.

Due to my car battery being fully drained, I connected the NOCO BOOSTER HD 12V 2000A in an attempt to recharge it. I connected the NOCO BOOSTER to the battery terminal, and I press the start button of the NOCO and gave the ignition switch a try. It was unsuccessful. I thought the battery cells were completely dead. The first step is connecting the NOCO cable to the car battery. As a second step, I must press the on button to activate the NOCO. The third step is to press the (red in circle !) button, wait, and then start the ignition switch. I haven't pressed the white button yet. That's the reason the car didn't start.

The next day, I went to the car shop to leave my car for a day of charging. The shopkeeper confirmed that it won't charge based on the multimeter reading. It's necessary for you to replace the battery. I purchased the new battery and installed it in my car, then it started right up. The shopkeeper wasn't honest with me. The battery was in good condition, and the shopkeeper wanted to profit.

How long will it hold charge after it's full (storing it under the seat prior to when it's needed?)

Hey Matt, what other models did you look into before deciding that this is the one you wanted?

I had my GB70 for several years now and it just makes clicking sounds and the lights chases but it will not start anything, not even a 1, 6L petrol Golf... I have tried it on 4 diferent cars on 10 - 15 occasions and it never starts anything and I had to call road assistance that connect similar device and car starts immediately. It is always fully charged and the safety override did nothing, still will not start anything and just make click click click sound. ---

Edit, I tried again the safety override and instructions said to hold the power button in 3 seconds, that was wrong. It was the other red button with a lightning on it... For first time I was able to put it in bypass the safety mode (I tried holding every button I could find many times before without it working... many times before when I had to call road assistance). But I am exhausted from trying over 1 hour out in the cold to try start a 1, 6 liter golf that almost starts but not quite with another 400A capasitor based starter + the GB70 with no luck. I will try again one last time with the GB70 in override safety mode....
