One question: I love this method but it doesn't seem to work if there is an audio track on the video clip. A lot of times really long clips don't sync based on waveform, particularly if the DP didn't slate or even clap. Is there a similar method inside Media when the video has an audio track but auto sync doesn't work? Doing it in edit is a breeze but I like to cut in the source monitor. Would creating a subclip in Edit be the best method here?
