32bit Audio on DJI Pocket 3 - This is how you sync audio to video.
If you own the DJI Pocket 3, you may know the camera can record both a safety track and also a 32-bit float audio clip.

You are my personal hero today. I used this to figure out how to use 32 bit audio on the Action 4 and now I can vlog on my motorcycle with perfect audio. THANK YOU

Thank you very much for lessons and tips. I didn't understand the back up wav audio file on the SD card prior to this and thanks to you, I now understand what it is, it's purposes and use cases. Thanks again, have a great, productive week ahead.

Hey just a quick question. I tried recording in 32-bit audio and the sound is very quiet compared to when i record with 32-bit turned off. Why is that? should I increase my mic gain? Its currently set to 0

One question. Did you use the audio file recorded automatically with video simultaneously on pocket 3 or the audio file recorded (by setting with 32-bit float on) on wireless mic to make a synced file? Thanks for your video!

great video, but my audio file has not the same length as my video file. Timecode enabled. They also do not get the same file name on the mic and teh pocket 3

Any tips on quickly finding the corresponding mix file to pocket 3 video file? The fact that the names are not the same between the pocket 3 video file and the mic file is so annoying!! It’s adding additional time and steps to my normal editing process that I otherwise would not be doing. Horribly inefficient!!

This is what i was looking for! I am very new to all of this its my first mic ever! So just to make sure I understand correctly: i need to first of all switch ‘on’ the 32 bit float on the receiver. Do i also need to separately press record on my mic when i start recording? Cause i am worried if maybe i forget to separately hit record on the mic itself or is that not needed? Also will i find this 32 bit float recording on my sd card which is in my camera or really just on my mic? I hope someone can help me 😇

When I do this, the mic sound and onboard mic sound is not in sync. Every recording needs to be adjusted (no much, but if I don't, it doesn't sound good)

Thanks for the wonderful sharing and I've like you video but I need some help. Whenever I try to place my 32 bit audio onto the adobe premier track, I found out that the audio clip are longer compared to the original audio recorded in pocket 3. I think this issue happens because whenever I press the record button on my pocket 3, there will be a slight delay on my dji mic 2 before it starts to record. So meaning that I have to clap my hand to create a peak before I start to Vlog as the audio peak will help me to sync both the audio. May I know have you encountered this issue? Thanks

Thank you for this. One question though: Is it possible to turn off the wireless transmitter on the mic? The EMF that it produces is likely even higher than the DJI mic 1 I have, and it exceeds healthy ranges by a very wide margin which I would be concerned about for daily use hours on end. I would love to be able to use it as a remote wireless mic without transmitting and then sync the 32bit float after like I do with my zoom f2.

I really do need to learn how to use and record on my separate mic and then sync with the video rather than rely on my crappy GoPro mic.

But hang on, the mic 2 does not record timecode according to DJI so how is that meant to be working ? Is it not just defaulting to sync based on audio wave forms ? I have not seen any evidence that the Mic 2 generates timecode, let alone that it jam syncs with the Osmo

Do you know if the pocket 3 can output internal audio and wireless mic audio while recording to an external recorder or mixer?

I got a very low audio when recording using the internal mic on the device. is it normal?

As you've shown on your video, there is a separate audio file within the DJI filing system and it is not imbedded within the video as you show. When I import the video there is no audio track. Why is this?
