Palpatine was a genius but the biggest dumbass in the world even if he didn’t think vader could kill him he seriously didn’t take into account that him pissing off vader and letting him know that he meant nothing to him was going to be his downfall he didn’t realize that vaders hatred would go so far that he would gladly die just to kill palpatine and that’s what happened in the end his love for his son mixed with his hatred for palpatine brought him back to the light and before Disney screwed it up palpatine was dead by vaders hands fuck Disney for ruining that moment should have just made kylo the only villain and do what they originally planned of how it was the opposite of vaders story where he starts out conflicted and ends with fully on board with the dark side
