“Eat less, sleep better, exercise more, feel good (mental health)” for me this has translated to baking our own sourdough (brewer’s yeast doesn’t ferment the gluten to make it digestible); eating a large breakfast after morning exercise; eating a light lunch; eating little in the evening. There’s no need to snack if food is fulfilling on all levels. That requires eating living food not inert chemicals. As Hippocrates knew all food is medicine. As the ancient medicines around the world knew all illness starts in the digestion. So it matters what you eat, and that requires you being able to cook from first principles.

My family biz was a psychiatry practice for 18 years. I’d really recommend people consider taking a Vitamin B50 Complex supplement a few times weekly.
The letter ‘B’ stands for ‘brain’ (health) vitamin. It’s old research that seems to be forgotten these days…

🌷👍 Thank you :-) I got 1 hour sleep last night… googled the D3 5, 000 I took last night… ‘Found out NEVER take vitamin D3 late-day or night … it causes insomnia 😱 (I already have sleep issues!)

Our medical training is sleep deprived.

That is a great example of the goals of medicine being confused right now.

I have complex PTSD and Bipolar 2 diagnoses and keep my symptoms in remission with consistent sleep, weight training, yoga, and good nutrition. Medication never worked for me and put me in the hospital more than once making my symptoms worse. All Psychiatrists do is diagnose and offer medication. Anything else is out of their scope of expertise.

And also the ppl surrounded you especially where nd who you living with, there's a big contribution how ppl treated these person dealing this kind of mental health prblm that may caused them to improved or to get worsed the condition of this person who is suffering frm this condition, exercise too which helps our brain to release happy hormone that makes this person to feel day by day to different, better than no exercise at all

I personally think our diet is the reason for 85% of mental illnesses . When we feed our gut microbiome we're increasing serotonin. Increasing serotonin matters. Real food = really good brains.

Why would anyone eat less? You go by your metabolic rate and training regime. I’m hoping when I get my metabolic rate done I can eat a lot more. Currently at 4, 500 calories. I’m always hungry sometimes I got well over that. My goals are to be as big as I can get with muscle.
