I've been using Amlactin Ultra Smoothing 15% Lactic acid intensely hydrating cream on the top of my hands for several months. My dermatologist recommended this for the flat growths I had on my hands. You can barely see them now, and they aren't raised. I'm 65 and feel this cream makes my hands look much younger. The instructions say to use it twice a day, but I only use it at night and have had excellent results. Gold Bond makes a great firming neck and chest cream that I've used with great results also. Thanks for the great tips!

Combine castor oil & sugar & scrub your hands to exfoliate. Rinse sugar off & your hands are so soft w/ castor oil. Castor oil penetrates so deep into your skin. You’ll be amazed!

Beth, your makeup is lovely. I have used the gold bond for years off and on….but, sadly it has one ingredient that is not good and most makeup products has this same ingredient too. When I found this out, I am trying to find cleaner makeup and lotions for the skin, because these products not only sit on top of your skin but you absorb them as well thru your whole body. It’s called polyethylene glycol. (PEG) They even have the audacity to claim it in some vitamins over the counter. They use it precisely for the smoothness and ability to form the product which actually is a chemical for antifreeze. Found in many products today. Anyway not to burst any ones bubble and put a damper on this video, because everyone has a choice to do as they wish. But read the ingredients and choose for yourself. Just an added tip here.

I like the way you compared hand creams. It's also a good way to compare face and neck lotions by using them on half the face or neck. Quite often when I found no difference, I knew I could just buy the cheaper one for the same results.

Beth, they do not do sclerotherapy on hands anymore, I looked into it. Reason is it could cause heart problems.

I use soap with kojic acid on the backs of my hands to fade liver spots, although unfortunately it's very drying. Avoiding sugars in the diet is the #1 most important thing to prevent liver spots, along with of course limiting sun exposure. I wear gloves when I drive now (and a brimmed hat), even while out walking around, even in the nice weather I wear white cotton gloves like they did in the 50s. I got some Gold Bond Age Renew after Dr. Dray reviewed it awhile back. I like it because it's an affordable single product with retinol that is suitable for both body and face, and retinol has a lot of research over several decades demonstrating it is effective for reducing wrinkles. However, I also dislike applying lotion and have always been lax in my regimen. This evening while I watched your video, I applied it to my face, neck and chest, hands, forearms and elbows, and thighs. It just takes a couple minutes and this product has an OK afterfeel so maybe I can get into the habit of doing this every evening, because consistency is what brings the results.

Your hands look great! I will try the gold bond. I used those fake sculptured nails back in the 80's and they ruined my natural nails. I just do my nails myself and have discovered I do as good as a professional manicurist and they look real because they are! 😊 I love pale pink and beige. Thanks for the advice on hand improvement.

I use a bit of coconut oil along w shea butter into my palm, rubbing palms together until the shea grains dissolve. It doesnt take much. The shea butter jar is around $14, a very large jar of coconut oil is $14! I decant some coconut oil into a smaller container for skin care. These last a couple of years.
