I'm a 66 yo grandmother. I pulled into a gas station to put air in my tires. I had to get on my knees bc my legs are bad. A young strong man came up to me and put air in all my tires and even helped me get up. I never expected that and will be forever grateful. God bless all our men.

Sometimes, the greatest joy I feel is when I help someone for the sake of helping them, without expectation of reciprocation

I’m a 22 year old man. I’ve gone through a lot of changes in my mindset, some fueled by hate, by sloth, by lust and greed. Now I’m going through a change fueled by a desire to be better. I think I’m a genuinely lonely and isolated person who will never find true connection with another person, but that doesn’t mean I can’t do my best to help those around me and make everyone’s lives a little better, even if only slightly. I really do like the kind of man I’ve started becoming, and I hope I’ll be even better when I look back on myself in a few years as I am now.

My husband was that way. We both loved helping others. I miss him so much since he passed away.

I’m a 43 year old Iraq/ Afghanistan combat veteran. I’ve only heard 1 other MAN speak the way this gentleman does, and that was my father. He didn’t speak much but when he spoke you listened because it was important or conducive to you. Though he never spoke much to me I heard him speak with other gentleman throughout my life. I lost that wise man on my 3rd deployment to Iraq. So listening to this gentleman makes me proud to hear someone that doesn’t enjoy berating or talking down to individuals. Thank you sir

I needed to hear this today. 37 years after a car wreck that messed me up and I allow the chronic pain to isolate me and hold me back. Gotta keep on movin' or I'll die.

One super small thing that happened really put the gym in perspective for me

I live in a gated neighborhood and the gate is a little rough around the edges to say the least.
One day the mechanics of this automatic gate weren’t working and it’s a heavy steel gate.

Some girl had parked in front of it waiting for it to open and when it didn’t she tried to pull it open and couldn’t, so she got back in and started to drive away.

As she did I flagged her down and told her to wait. I went over and just barely was able to pry it open.

Making myself useful then, even in an insignificant way, was one of the most fulfilling things I’ve gotten from the gym to this day.

"A real man is born to serve". A real woman is also born to serve. Such a relationship is all kinds of beautiful.❤

I’ve been told that one of the very best things you can do to help someone is, simply to let them help you.. very powerful advice. It has its pros and cons of course. But, especially someone who is feeling quite depressed and down on themselves NEEDS to be someone’s hero in a sense. Truly.. in order to come back to life.

I used to be a lonely guy with no friends and no support. It wasn't until I started trying to offer that support and friendship to others that I found I had made a friend who would do the same for me. Take the initiative guys the world is ours

Agreed. A real man should desire to be useful. Always have an eye out for opportunities to be useful and bless those less fortunate. Not monetarily, but by donating your god given skills and talents and abilities to those that need them. Go cut your elderly neighbors grass, take out their trash, clean their gutters, fix their shutters, patch their roof. SEEK these opportunities. God blessed you to be a REAL MAN, dont squander such a rare and priceless gift

I was a miserable isolated addict for decades. Now a few years into recovery, I’ve found my purpose in service. Especially service in the recovery sphere. It has far more than replaced a lifetime of selfishness. 🤜🤛
God bless this message.

There comes a point at every man’s life that sometimes we have no choice but to be alone to figure ourselves out. If we can’t be happy with ourselves by ourselves and truly love being alone, you aren’t ready to be with someone. You must give yourself the best version of yourself before you give to someone else. It’s a hard road but it has to be done.

I’m so grateful for my grandfather, father, and brothers being a positive example of masculinity.

This one hit home… I’m hyper focused on achieving success that I’m not paying attention to what’s happening in real time.

This message is so, so, so true
The happiest moments of my life, at 50 years, have always been serving others, my children, friends, etc.... This is the purpose of men

My favorite thing is sparking up a conversation with a stranger about something they have on them or maybe their car. I like seeing faces light up when they start talking about the things that interest them. It’s pretty cool to see how easily people will open up and freely talk. I think the world has forgotten how to communicate and are plugged into their phones so much. Ironic since I’m on my phone right now lol but you get my point
