While I agree with nearly everything you say (I raised two amazing boys into men), I do have to say I disagree with you about men freaking out and not going to, say, a nail salon, etc. Seriously? Men can and do get manicures and it doesn’t make them less a man. It’s good grooming. But, it’s ok for women to go to a (manly) football game? Men should be men but they do have a softer side and shouldn’t hide it just to appear more manly. That would keep them stuck when trying to express feelings that we know they have. God did give them feelings you know. Manly men do cry. Let’s keep it real. This is from someone your mother’s age.
