One of my all time favorite smartphones and the longest phone I have used (about 3 years), I had upgraded from the Motorola Photon 4G (still have both phones in a drawer).

I used the Z10 until I upgraded to the Galaxy Note 5.

I had this phone when it came out. Came back to see what it was like. I miss that gesture control!! Seems android and iPhone are doing something similar low but I really liked how blackberry did that in this phone

I've been using the Z10 for a few months now and recently went to look at the iphone 5. After looking at the display model at the store I was really surprised how little the iphone had to offer compared to the BlackBerry. If BlackBerry continues coming out with phones such as this then they will be back at the #1 spot in no time!

I think the design is amazing. It doesn't look really impressive when on video, but I just saw one in real life last week and I was totally blown away with its design. Especially the white one.

I'm very happy to learn from our company that they are replacing our BB Z10 to BB Q10.
The first I feel the key board is like heaven. I do lots keyboarding and picture in my job.
BB Q10 is a serious machine, not a toy.

You can criticize many things in this phone but you really cant argue the face that the software is unbelievably smooth and robust because just like the iOS in the iPhone it was designed and programmed in house and developed with 100% cooperation with the hardware department. Its like the software 'waved' into the hardware not a sticker over it.

From what I've seen with the Blackberry Z10, this is what to take from it so far.

Blackberry (nee RIM) have been behind the game. Other systems are years ahead, and Blackberry have been forced to try and reinvent in order to survive, which they have done so. However, despite the naming, this is BB10 1.0, and in the same vein as iOS and Android, it will improve in future versions. It's a great base platform, it just remains to be seen as to what Blackberry can do with it now.

It's voice command dictation and predictive text is so cool. the fastest way to type out text messages. and it's voice command also make web references if you want to know the answer to something. that's way cool too, I can definite see myself holding this phone soon. such a great piece of technology

Pretty impressed by this phone. 1 feature that ALL manufacturers should take note of is the ability to quickly swipe from the top and toggle wi-fi/Bluetooth etc.

You forgot something very important when speaking of the Apps you can use on the Z10...

BlackBerry Z10 Runs Android Apps
The BlackBerry Z10 and its BlackBerry 10 OS may have only a fraction of the applications as iOS, but the Z10 can run not only native BlackBerry apps, but also repackaged or "ported" Android apps. Some official versions of ported Android apps are available in the BlackBerry World app store, but many more can be found online and then manually sideloaded onto your device.

I went from a Blackberry bold to a galaxy note 2. The galaxy has a great screen and I found myself doing all sorts of fun things with it but I have a business and communication is a priority and the note sucked at this. If my cheek touched the screen the wrong way during a call, my voice became muted and people hung up thinking it the call dropped. email did not update even though i had set it to. never got alerts for new emails, etc. I lost my note and I am back with blackberry and love it!

Your right Jeffrey. At the end of the day, its just something to surf the web, the media and the phone. Still Blackberry does it so the regular user that schedules your life on it, makes it easy to keep your business and your personal lives separate.
