One of my fellow Redfin agents sent this to me. Thank you so much, I’m the agent who is quoted in the Inman article. I appreciate your video! There are pros and cons to both, but the pros still outweigh the cons for me.

Brandon. I appreciate your honesty throughout the video about Redfin. It's refreshing not to see attacks on competition. Thank you

I've been with Redfin for 7 years now. I agree with everything she says. As far as "not being able to hack it"... there could be some truth to that. I hated being a "traditional" agent, but I love working with Redfin. It's almost a different job.

I watch several YouTube videos on how to trade in the stock market but haven't made any head start because they are either talking some gibberish or sharing their story of how they made it and I do not want to make mistakes by taking risks in my own hands

I’ve been an agent for 7 months and have been fortunate to do a TON of business. I see the draw to Redfin, but when you are coached well and not afraid to go out there and make connections and make calls, you’d never consider going salary. Everyone has their own situation and Redfin might be a good fit for some. Brandon’s right, most agents should be with a salary model. For those that aren’t and are doing well, the possibilities are endless.

I was a team manager at Redfin for over 2 years. It was an amazing company. I see Jen Winn in the comments! Someone I worked side by side with, and managed. One of the most amazing agents I had the privilege to work with. I've been with 13 brokerages in my career. Redfin was amazing!

I have an interview with Redfin next week for a Lead Agent role in Austin, TX. I hesitated because I thought I had "given up" as an entrepreneur, but it is exhausting sometimes wearing all of the hats. I might not even get hired, but I'm going for it! Thanks for the article.

I have been a Full Time Realtor in NJ for 17 years. I am strongly considering Redfin. Here are my reasons, although I've done many transactions as Primarily a List Agent the well does dry up! I think I might be willing to give up the Potential to make more money at a traditional brokerage for an actual salary that I can better control

As an agent that started my career in real estate just before the pandemic and lock down, it was and still is hard to generate consistent business. However the freedom I receive is well worth it to me, however a steady income and still doing what I love sounds positive!! Thank you Brandon for all the knowledge you provide.

I am a new agent and signed 2 months ago with my brokerage. I have spent $1000's dollars getting Postcards, Business cards, Managing my website, Dialer, etc., and calling daily to get a buyer or seller. I have yet to land a deal and trying to keep my head up a charge forward. The lead generation is brutal because I feel like I am doing the exact same thing that 20000 agents in my area are doing as well. Interesting read and business model.

wonder if it's a good starting point. I love the steady flow of clients and income especially if I don't have clients. It sounds like it. Ps, I Inmann charges you to read the article.

I'm an Associate Agent (showing agent) at Redfin and they made the exact points why one should be a Lead Agent at Redfin. Most people don't know how to make prospecting work so why not just have an entire business model designed to have all the wraparound services done for you so you can work on closing deals?

But not just anyone can become a Lead Agent as you have to go through a corporate hiring process where Redfin can be picky on who they hire. They want problem solvers who have gotten clients through tough situations and who deliver excellent customer service. If you're a new agent that's a near impossible task.

As for me, I probably won't be at Redfin long-term as in the next 3 years I'll either be successful in real estate or on my way to physical therapy school.

I see the pros for sure. I just want to add that my experience has been Redfin agents (the few that I’ve worked with) were hard to get a hold of and seemed very short or rushed.

All of that being said I’ve thought about working with them and just focusing on deals, getting things like health insurance again, etc.

Honestly she has a lot of good points. Most agents don't make it because running a business is a ton of work. And if you can continue to thrive in real estate especially as a woman with a family without exhausting yourself working tons of hours like you would at a traditional brokerage then i don't see the problem. Redfin may be a viable option for most

Hi Brandon
I did Redfin interview. But I was not hired because some many agents applied in my local area . Is good to heard that Redfin is a good company

As a new agent who closed 3 back to back transaction in my first few months referrals only I want to believe that I can prospect my way to being a 6 figure dolo agent. But I’ve actually considered joining Redfin and planned to look deeper into it. If they have a bar salary plus closings that’s cool. Still on the fence about this.

I live in Arizona and it is booming! Please be aware of the difference between a condominium and a townhouse!A townhome has no connection to any other building and sits by itself !A condominium shares address walls and is connected to building !I get that most realtors do not know difference!
