I went several years ago to the Great Neck location. It was really delicious. The overall experience for me was worth the money spent on what will more than likely be the only time I go. I can at least say I got the full experience and it was before hearing that it all went downhill. It's also very difficult to drop down so much money only to feel like less money could have been spent for a better meal and a repeat visit. I really enjoyed Peter Luger's but it's just priced beyond my liking now.

Ate at the Great neck location many years ago. My standard menu was two Heinekens, tomatoes and onions, steak for two with steak fries, creamed spinach and the apple strudel with that whipped cream. Coffee too. Was around $200 with tip. Fortunately had the Peter Luger charge card, paid it off upon mailed receipt. That was Monday's meal as a traveling sales manager to NYC area. Tuesday was long island diner for their "complete dinner". Wednesday was maybe a return to Luger's for their chicken dinner.

Went to the Caesars in Vegas location. Probably the best steak I've ever had but yeah, pretty expensive. Restaurants in general have increased their prices by 25% or more since 2020. It's ridiculous
