Dr. Eric Berg talks about OMAD (One-Meal-A-Day) on every other day. If your metabolism is slow and you need to lose more weight in less amount of time, you may want to do this. Start out gradually and then go longer and longer without eating but the key is to not eat unless you are hungry and to let your body tell you when to eat.

Dr. Berg, 56 years of age is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. He is the author of The New Body Type Guide and other books published by KB Publishing. He has taught students nutrition as an adjunct professor at Howard University. He no longer practices, but focuses on health education through social media.

I have started omad every other day recently and have been noticing massive results very quickly. One meal every 48 hrs. No carbs. Works great.

One of your best videos ! This is how I eat, 1 big, nutritious meal every other day. Break my fast with bone broth, avacado, pasture raised eggs and some grass fed beef or liver (all "superfoods"). After that I'm pretty full and don't have room for any other junk food. On days I dont eat food I will have a bone broth with supplements or a bullet proof coffee, but never solid food. My energy has been through the roof, my shoulder arthritis and foot gout are cured, my weight went from 230 to 165 in 6 months and my blood pressure has normalized. Amen, and alot of gratitude to Dr. Berg, Dr. Fung, Dr. Zyrowski, Dr. Berry, Dr. Boz, Dr. Eklenberg, and many others on YouTube who teach us how we should be eating and take the arrows for us from Big Pharma and Big Sugar...thanks again.

I have been eating 1-meal a day (every other day for 3-months and feel great! I have lost 45 pounds. Half way to my goal. It was hard at first, but I have committed to doing it...and so happy it's working. I allow myself 2-coffee's a day with Almond milk on the days I don't eat...and lot's of water. Nice to see this video, it is encouraging to keep going...Today is a no food day...lol!

I always have to ask myself - "does my stomach need this or does my mouth want this?" Most of the time, it just my mouth wanting carbohydrates.

Been doing this for a week now. So far so good. I weigh 195 but I’m trying to get down to my ideal weight of 177. Reduction of inflammation is the best feature.

I'm doing Keto plus IF plus OMAD from Monday till Friday then in the weekend I do 48h fast then repeat the cycle. I feel amazing. Will do this all my life. The self confidence, the mood I get...its just amazing. I've never felt so good in my life.

I'm on day 23 of 28 day water fast. Will slowly introduce food back into my body. Will do one meal a day for a bit maybe 2 weeks. Then I'll do alternate day fasting along with the one meal a day. I'll have a 23:1 window. Have gone from a size 18 to size 12 during this fast. I started with one day fast then three, then seven and decided to go for 28. Have lost 17 lb. I'm 67 years old and feel this will keep me healthy for the rest of my life. Having no health issues and want to continue that. I'm so happy because I found that this really works for me. It's right up my alley. Probably not for everyone. But it's worth the effort to make it work cuz I'm doing what's best for me doing the job and then I'm having the rewards of health and best weight for my height. I wish you all success.

This was awesome Dr Berg! I fasted last month for four days. It was a calculated risk, was bleeding for 54 days total but I stopped bleeding. I made bone broth and that helped my hemoglobin and iron levels to be fantastic. I recently found out I have a fibroid and am currently fasting again. I just want to heal my body and save my womb as I really want children and I don't want the doctors to butcher me!

Good advise! I went from 245 lbs with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis, Fibromyalgia, IBS, Gluten intolerance Inflammation on and on! I started intermittent fasting and paleo on my refeed and CBD oil for pain an inflammation man. I am down to 148 lbs in 6 months. I am off ALL prescribe drugs and no otc pain meds ( Ibprophen etc) I am healthy and active and feel better all around than I have in 20 years! This saved my life!
