I cant find ‘macintosh hd’ underneath ‘apple ssd sm0256g media’ but instead there is ‘container disk2’. Would i have to erase ‘container disk2’? Please reply

Here are fixes for ‘an error occured while preparing installation’

1- instead of installing default config cmd+r, press cmd+opt+r install latest package. (Press while loading)

2- if os is installed already and you want to make update fix time and date

3- try healing up disk, or erase everything and install package

Did as was said, erased the HD and then went to reinstall MacOS High Sierra and have tried multiple times and always comes up with. ( the recovery server could not be contacted).
I have internet connection.
The major problem following this is I didn’t back up the laptop as it selling it but now I can’t reboot high Sierra and I can’t download a new version to reinstall it because the laptop no longer does anything but go on to the utility screen? Can you please advise.

I already factory erased my mac which was on monterey and now it's sierra but keep getting the error when installing
I fixed date but nothing and when I tried to delete selected files again it said failed

hey fellow Mac friends. I am trying to reinstall Mac OS High Sierra on a MacMini like 2009 or 2012, I cant remember, I COULDNT, I got an error message. ALL I DID TO FIX, was change the USA FLAG to CANADA (where I am) and it worked !!!!
