First, we need to insert a table with one column and one hundred rows: Position your cursor where you want the table. Click the Insert tab. Then, choose Insert Table from the Table dropdown in the Tables group. In the resulting dialog, enter 1 in the Number Of Columns field and 100 in the Number Of Rows field. Click OK

Thank you. But this is the scenario with me. I created several pages without serial number. Now I want to add serial number to every table/page which adds up. For eg the first table ends on ser no. 30 and the second page starts at 31, 32, 33 and ends at 60. The third page starts at 61 and ends at 90. So and so on. How do I add these consecutive serial numbers to the pages/tables?
