I was a detective for 30 years. There is not one officer I know that would not have run out of his house if anyone, no less a friend, was found dead on my lawn. These people are awful. Proctor got every bit of his supposed evidence from Jen McCabe, including her medical conditions. That is the only thing he used to make his decision that Karen was guilty. There was no actual investigation, only what they could make fit into their theory. They even tried to influence the medical examiner. The only truth told in this case was by the people unrelated to the Canton PD.

The fact that Proctor says the word "integrity" with a straight face is amazing to me. The fact that the whole court doesn't burst out laughing when he says it is even more amazing!

If he developed compelling evidence against Ms.'s Read then where the hell is it and when are they going to decide to show it to the jury and everyone else!?!?

I find it irrelevant that Karen drinks on top of her medical conditions. It's hard to be sick. People cope in different ways. Not always healthy ones. It's not any different for people with health issues.

The judge didn't like him saying "shame on you sir" because it wasn't a question. He should have said, "have you any shame!?" 😂

I haven’t seen my brother’s best friend in like 20 years but if you asked me if I know him the answer is “yes, that’s my brother’s best friend.”

I don't know about Proctor, but I love Yanetti! I love how he is just watching Jackson having a very good day in court. Lol

The socks could have been important to place in evidence and tested. If Victim had gone into the home, most people would have removed their snowy shoes. The socks could have collected the german shepherds fur/hair and testing them could have answered the question if victim DID enter the home.

I'm really puzzled why some people still seem laser focused on Karen being guilty. I don't know if she's guilty - neither do you - and we never will thanks to the shoddy policework. If you care about justice, at what point do you direct your focus to the people who completely compromised the investigation?

This dude is the reason why so many people don’t like cops and don’t trust them.

The fact that you paused the stream, right in the middle of a wtf moment, to help your son, makes me love you even more!! ❤

Am I the only person, when he kept trying to insert, “we had compelling evidence that Ms. Read did it.” SCREAM at the screen, “what compelling evidence!!?!?!?! Show me!!!!”

The only report that anyone can locate in this case is the weather report lol😂

Alan Jackson when to bat for his client with full emotions and in my book knocked out of this world. The ending especially was impactful with the point of Proctor dehumanizing his client was masterful. The look on Proctor's face as Jackson barraged him with his own words says it all. When Jackson asked about Proctor dehumanizing Karen, the look on his face was something. But when the prosecutor objected, there was this quick flash of relief to the point he almost smiles! Then when the Judge said "I'll give you this one Mr. Jackson", the look on Proctors face was priceless. Then that "Shame on you" comment at the end, damn.

I have watched every minute of this court case with Emily. Is anyone else so exhausted and disillusioned that you just don't care anymore? Is that Lally's tactics to drive everyone to madness???😵‍💫 Does the jury feel that way??? Bless their hearts!!!

After today I would be ready to acquit if I was on the jury. I felt so bad for her when they went into her colon issues. AND THE AUDACITY of proctor to complain of his character being attacked by Yannetti after what proctor said about Karen!
