We watched this after you recorded it. THANK YOU for answering this burning question: How do you go to the bathroom in the tent or cabin? And we were wondering why you built an outhouse that could be dangerous in the frigid winter, or in the summer, you know, getting stuck to the seat in the winter or meeting a wolf or a bear in the middle of the night in the summer…Anyway, we are relieved that you have another means to take care of business SAFELY. I have to say I really admire you and your outlook on life, I live on a narrowboat in the UK and while like you km living off grid I'm not living in the remote wilderness in extreme cold which is a true testament to your survival skills and to be happy while doing it

My brother in law heard scratching under yhe floor of his cabin, he caught sight of the critter one night, it was a weasel.
I had a squirrel problem in our generator shed, i used a rat trap, ..it deployed, no squirrel in the trap but it never returned. No problems since its been over 6 years

New subscriber here i love the cabin channels, we are in our shoulder season of being able to get to our remote cabin, watching content like this gets me a "cabin fix" through osmosis. This is what i like about your channel/personality.. your laugh demennor reminds me of a good friend, its genuine authentic, i get a kick out of your laugh.

I use trash compactor bag in a 5 gallon bucket with a toilet seat designed to fit. We have an outhouse so we dump the bag into that pit, we don't deposit TP in the bucket or in the hole it saves on the life of the pit. We haul the emptied bag back with our regular trash.
..this is in South Central Alaska.
