For me I put it in the docking station and the station was so dusty it did not register. It was left on all night. Next day I didn't know what was going on, googled a bunch of stuff, cleaned the station, and the switch was fixed.

It worked thanks bro I literally was playing Zelda Breath of the Wild at 4 something in the morning and it said my battery life was at one percent and it died and I could not turn it back on dude really is a life saver

What i do when this happens:
I hold the power buttons and the 2 volume buttons for 10 seconds like if you're trying to put it in recovery mode. If it doesn't turn on then, i retry until it is fixed
