Probably it's less frustrating if you set the gamespeed to a lower level and then set it higher again once you finished the wall dash on this speed level.

Settings -> Training -> Gamespeed

Question, couldn’t you instead of turning your stick to active your dodge. What if you held whichever direction air roll you needed to use depending on which wall and direction you need to dodge. This will keep you from having to correct your steering so you don’t start turning up the wall? Or I did I miss something that would already know why that wouldn’t work?

so technically if you hold the stick completely right and do it on the roof you can stay there ( no use whatsoever xd )

How is this supposed to work on keyboard and mouse? I tried it a lot, but I realized controller players have another button to drive and then the joystick to steer, so they can keep holding that drive button while using the joystick to just flip sidewards, but if you are on keyboard you only have WASD, so you would have to keep holding W while flipping sidewards, but that makes the flip go diagonal
However if you try to stop holding W while flipping, when you get back to the wall it will make you drift automatically, so you will lose all of your speed
