As someone who took coding classes in high school, Japanese has been really entertaining to decipher and figure out. Both work and hobbies are starting to call for the knowledge of learning Japanese and I'm hoping that I can get a solid foundation within the next 3 years.

I’ve been learning just because it’s been fun, idk if I’ll ever become fluent or anything, but I’m certainly enjoying the process.

And learning something like a new language apparently boosts IQ and is good for the brain.

Plus, for some reason I like the sound that comes out of my mouth when I’m speaking the small phrases I do know 🤣 I’ll just be chillen like “gohan to mizu desu” as if I’m some type of anime Villian VA.

And it certainly sounds good(to me at least), but all im really saying is ‘it’s rice and water’ 🤣

Either way im enjoying it without too much stress over the outcome 🙇‍♂️🙏

I started learning in order to watch Japanese daytime tv and game shows. I love them so much. ガキの使い is my favorite but Kansai dialect kills me

I live in Southern cali, i wanted to learn japanese because i wanted to ease drop on all the conversations i was hearing at thw mall. Also so i could go to the grocery store and know what i was actually buying. Ive been eating from 99 ranch market for a while now and i eat a lot of food that looks good whlithout a single clue as tk what it is. (There is a store locating across the street from my job, and the backery is yummy and cheap, so i go there a lot)

I've tried. Now my parents are just expecting me to find someone in Japan xD. I've even been to Japan 4 times in 5 years! (Covid dashed a lot of times I could have gone, so we're skipping over those years).

To anyone actually serious about becoming fluent in japanese just take the vid for the laughs and giggles but anything more than that is gonna result in quitting or worse. This applies not just to this video but any other video that does this as believe it or not there are people who literally give up after seeing stuff like this.
