I like noisy cars, but children suffering from autism don't. That's why I drive cars with a quiet engine.

That seems good to hear, but from the looks. Seems like it is light swap with very little power with that kind of fuel millage. I honestly don't see hybrids dying anytime soon. I could see hybrids leaving gasoline and switching off to alternative fuels, but this? I don't know?

All that complicated ICE design to create power from hydrogen will lead to its own demise. You simply cannot beat an electric motor for simplicity of design and power output.
It's a no brainer!

The only way hydrogen power has any chance of becoming a factor in the future is if battery technology doesn't advance whatsoever which seems highly improbable.

Once you experience driving an EV for any extended period of time, at least one month, there's simply no way you can go back to driving an ICE vehicle. It seems so archaic with all that noise, complicated design that's so maintenance heavy and expensive.

EV tech is good enough right now to satisfy millions and when the battery tech advances a bit more to be price competitive, the race will be over.

If hydrogen is to have a role in fueling vehicles it will start with commercial fleets of trucks, vans, and vessels with predictable routes, which will have filling stations prearranged along those routes. So to start with passenger cars is insane. Seems like the head of Toyota is fatally stuck in his thinking.

Toyota will be a Japan only brand in 10 years. Building cars that run off hydrogen is, well, stupid. Hydrogen electrolysis / filling stations paid for by the air quality management agency in California cost over a million dollars, could only fuel up 20 cars a day and is energy inefficient. Of all these qualities, the inefficiency hurts the most as it means it will take 4 times more electricity to drive a hydrogen powered car than an EV. Given all these problems, one has to ask: What's the point? EVs are already more economical than hydrogen cars, and the gap is getting bigger.

EVs are a scam. All future Toyotas will run on abundant air!
