Going to blow your mind that in NZ we have maternity leave AND a tax credit for all kids first 3 years alive to 'even the playing field'. An extra $73 a week goes a long way with a newborn. Then 20 hours free daycare - any daycare - from 3-5 years. It has been a game changer for so many

it's true.. and I've thought about how my parents have raised me and my brother: oh lord, my parents both start working since they were young like one is 12, another is 16-17 and still working 50 years... and kids are really really expensive. Just imagine the education. Just education itself needs like 100k alone (and inflation.. that might costs more than that)..it is very very expensive to be a human. Everything needs money

The sad truth is that for our societies future we all need to habe atleast two kids, but the entire system is working against the younger generations doing so. Yet if we don't civilization is going to collapse in a runaway effect, which we all will get the pleasure of seeing in korea first.
