I was born from a mother who chose God while my dad did not and they were married. He stayed and my mom was firm in not giving up her faith. He eventually became a Christian and I’ve lived under grace since birth. I was actually supposed to be dead at birth but I was saved. There is grace for EVERYONE who chooses Christ. We should focus less on judgment and more on getting close to him

If you have the awareness that you need a Godly partner, then it is sin and disobedience to do otherwise. Wait for God’s timing, you’re only helping yourself. God wants to spare you the pain of unnecessary breakups. It’s a lie to think you don’t need to wait for the right person. Pray, be patient and rely on God (He actually IS enough for you while you wait for romance. You don’t need a man or woman to be whole. I believe that it still is what it is… first and foremost those as believers should not marry and unbeliever “unequally yoked”… but God is saying since you did go against my Word and did what you wanted to do now you stay in it and honor that marriage… letting you daily walk with Christ and lifestyle be the influence that can lead your unbelieving spouse to Christ. The household is blessed by the believing spouse but the unbelieving spouse still has to accept Christ on their own in time to acquire Salvation

I have vowed not to get married to the spiritually dead.I cannot unsee what my spiritual eyes have seen lately through prayer and fasting and neither am I forsaking the sacrifice of Christ on the cross for me.

This is exactly what I needed to hear! Me and my husband are on two different pages spiritually!!! We got together based off of sex and started a family! We are now almost 8yrs married/ 10yrs together and have 4 kids! He believes in God as do I but he doesn’t go to church which caused me to stop going this past year, but I know I need to go back for our children!

Welp...I just got convicted 🤦🏾‍♂️I did that this year with my ex. I should have never tried to do "missionary dating". There were times I felt like her lack of faith was going to stop me from growing/getting to a new point with God.

Needed this…I prayed to God this morning for direction. I told my Daddy that He raised me to remember to guard my heart because out of it flows the issues of life. I have humbly and whole heartedly embraced the single seasons for many divine reasons, so I needed to know if the man that has sought me, is the one. I desire someone that will not be a distraction from Yah, but an amplifier. It’s not that he doesn’t believe, because he does. However, it’s not apparent that he has a very intimate and active relationship with Yah. I am also wise enough to not compare where I am with our Father, and where he is. I just don’t want to be with anyone that my Dad do not want me to be with! I want Him to choose for me, because I’ve failed miserably! I know what I asked Him, and for the song “unequally yoked” to pop up followed by this, the Holy Spirit speaks! Thank you Yah! This is you, because I prayed silently, and we know the devil can’t read minds! 🙌🏾🙏🏾

This scripture applies to two ppl who were both UNSAVED and one got saved and the other did not! Remember the context is the new church so ppl were married prior to coming into the knowledge of Christ and that’s who the writer is referring to. So for all you women who feel relief off this clip and scripture because you married a unsaved man when YOU were a SAVED WOG this does not apply to you. You simply are unequally yoked and chose to be with a man that didn’t love God even though you did. You should repent and ask God to have mercy on you and your union as well as redeem your unsaved husband.

Amen! GOD just took me through a season of humility and brokenness. Before GOD changes your wife. HE will use what's in them to change you. HE showed me how I was more like a Pharisee to my wife than like CHRIST. Now our marriage it's better than ever. Now that I practice to love her as CHRIST loves the church and gave HIMSELF for it. The HOLT GHOST will teach you all things and 1st that you will receive. That you need to be changed as well. What my brother is saying 100%. accurate.

God meets us where we are at. One thing we always learn is that not everyone's path is the same. Even if you are like minded. Again, invitation is one thing, accepting is another. Progression not perfection. Keep an open mind.

Isn’t “Do not be unequally yoked” about not entering into a relationship with an unbeliever? I believe we should seek out other believers for any relationship, especially marriage!

This was so good. The lord got me together with this. Like you are in my business 😂 I think it’s imperative for people to really understand not to be harassing their partner about their faith walk. I had to learn myself. But definitely see the change the Lord is creating within my marriage and my husband. Don’t get caught up on what your spouse isn’t doing but acknowledge what he/she is doing. Encouragement is key.

Marriage is work… hard heart work.. You have to decide that you want to do it. With believers, you really should seek the Lord about your marriage and what to do and where to go. And like Pastor Tim said do not compare or judge your partner with their soul salvation.

DON'T AGREE WITH STAYING WITH SOMEONE WHEN YOU ARE UNEQUALLY YOKED! "LET HIM SMOKE HIS WEED" I have a friend who is SUFFERING because of this very thinking he says is OK. She married a Muslim man they have 2 kids now. He smoked weed when they met and now has moved to other drugs. Sad thing their son is addicted now too because of a father that has been unstable. Literally last night I had to take her to the hospital because of a violent incident due to his drug abuse! She is Christian and the fact that they are literally living seperate lives in martiage is damaging her soul and the kids are suffering. This mentality spoken of in the first statement is WRONG AND CAN BE ABUSIVE! IT DOES NOT WORK. YOU WILL SPEND YEARS TRYING TO LIVE A LIFE TO SHOW YOUR PARTNER THAT HE SHOULD COME TO CHRIST JUST TO EITHER END UP PHYSICALLY DEAD OR JUST A WALKING DEAD PERSON IN MARRIAGE BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT ON THE SAME PAGE! BIG CAN'T BE LOOSING QUALITY OF LIFE BECAUSE I AM ENDURING PAIN JUST TO BE ABLE TO LIVE RIGHT WHILE SOMEONE ISN'T. IT'S ABUSIVE

Wow it helps to hear you talk about your marriage! My fiancee is definitely not on the same spiritual level as me, but he's supposed to be a spiritual leader in our household.
