How To Turn On Or Off Autoplay Video Previews On iPhone

Let's enable or disable the autoplay feature on video previews if you want previews to automatically start or manually start after you tap on them on your iPhone.

It’s so annoying that Youtube doesn’t just give us this option in the app settings.

What’s even MORE annoying, is that the automatically played previews actually counts as a view! (At least in your history list.)

Doesn’t work. X autoplays videos with sound on. Can’t turn it off.

I changed the setting and it is auto playing. No change. I showed a couple people to see if I was crazy. Won't stop autoplaying.

No effect on video previews in youtube iOS App

When browsing through YouTube the video list will start auto playing and erase what the video is about and then if you select that video you miss the first 5 or 10 seconds and have to slide the slider back to start it over, So Annoying and I have yet to find a way to stop it from doing this. This Fix did not help.

not true on iphone8 all are off but video auto play anyway. Do any of your geniuses ever consider that operating systems vary and therefore these tutorials are worthless unless I'm using an identical phone to yours? dont say should ...., waaay too many variables. does apple pay u?
