the day i learned it was the first time i went to a skatepark, saw everybody doing it and thought it was easy. i tried it and failed, again and again. by the time it was 6pm i had kick turns and tbh i was happy with myself that day. next up dropping in🤘🏼

This was probably the first trick I learned ever, and it feels a lot more comfortable than just going fakie. Fakie for me is so uncomfortable so kickturns have become natural to me and I can't skate a ramp otherwise.

Woah do you have a tutorial for slowing down/stopping with the tail like at the start of this video? I find it always stops really suddenly and I'm not sure how to lean exactly. Thanks 👍

I would honestly say just drop in on one side of a mini ramp and try to kick turn on the other side until you get it. That’s how I learned
