How to turn on a skateboard

If you can balance and ride pretty well, then all you need to do is lean side to side. It’s literally that simple. If you need to make sharper turns the lift your front truck and turn your hips in the desired direction.

It’s super easy but it start with being comfortable on your board. So go out and practice as much as you can and it will start to feel natural.

I like some fairly loose trucks since the bushings won't wear down as quickly as tighter trucks, plus the loose trucks kinda act as suspension trucks and feel better when I ride on weirdly angled or rough asphalt, and looser trucks generally feel better and more natural to ride rather than stiff and rigid tight trucks

I personally prefer tighter trucks because I run an 8.5 and I’m 6’2”, so anything looser is just asking wheelbite as I’m not too good with my balance since I’ve got a higher center of mass than most skaters I know.

My board cant turn right lol bc i try to and it just goes straight and when i try to turn straight it goes left

Hi! Could anyone help me? My skateboard is turning on it's own. I've checked the trucks and the bushings everythings fine. The only thing is that the bushing are quite hard and I don't know if that's right. Hopefully someone will reply to me to solve this question! I'm new to skateboarding and I don't exactly know what's right what's wrong here. I'm still not sure whether I should be changing my bushing or not cause they don't look broken nor overtightened since it's a new board but it's very hard.
