You should be careful though, if you poke the speaker hole too hard it might damage the insides, also don't use needle to poke it, use a paperclip instead like Vector.

Just did this. It works so well and I thought that the tape would stick in my phone speaker but it actually didn’t. Please check your speakers both sides!

For anyone wondering, No. don’t ever do this.. if you push too hard, you risk damaging the speaker. If you push too light. you take nothing out. Just take it to PRG or something

It would clean much better if you don't make a hole in the tape. Paste the tape firmly and loosely to avoid making holes in there.

You can also use an old tooth brush instead. Much safer.

There are also companies that sell gum like material to clean your speakers. Which is also much safer.
