Isn't the Porsche hitting the Turquoise Porsche braking and trying to avoid the crash instead of still pinning their throttle down and going for it though?

Jimmy at 8:20 I think you misread the situation. It seems to me the guy we're on board with realized the turquoise car is gonna go all the way to the left and was trying to pass him on the right. Yet the turquoise car doesn't go all the way and kinda stays on the left of the mid lane, so to speak.

7:30 I feel like the car behind anticipated the other car was going to continue driving to the left racing line and tried to take the inside.

yeah the Porsche looks like it's letting off to swerve around the back of the Turquoise Porsche.

7:20 No, Jimmy, that wasn't an intentional ram. That was an attempt to evade, and the reaction time was about as fast as could be expected after the out-lap car cut across the track.

I think this is more trying to avoid the blue dude while not knowing where he's going,
Realizing late what was happening,
At the rate that that blue guy was moving, half expecting to be clear by the time they'd meet
And an attempt to still salvage the lap by trying to keep a capable line

8:28 He took off 30MPH, and swerved to avoid his expected trajectory - I don't see that as, "Just drive into the back of him", I see it as, "Don't put yourself in the trajectory he's following". If there's going to be an accident, aim behind/to the rear/inside of where they're going so you can hopefully avoid. He's trying to do that. The Turquoise car was enough of a pillock that this still resulted in a crash, but he was clearly trying to avoid by 1) braking, and 2) steering to where he was, not where he is going to be. Sorry, @Jimmy Broadbent, but you got that one wrong.

i don't condone the retaliation. but that punt @ 6:46 was beautiful

7:23 I am pretty sure this is not intentional, as the POV car started to brake as the turquoise car started to get in his line.
I think, he just panicked and tried to go around him from the right as he expected him to go fully to the left, but the turquoise didn't go fully to the left hence - crash.

That pass with lights off was probably one of the most funniest and amazing passes I've seen. Laughed my ass off. 😂😂

7:25 I'm not really sure why Jimmy thought the guy was trying to crash into the Turquoise Porsche, it's pretty obvious he was swerving to try and avoid him and it didn't quite go to plan.

7:21 He was trying to avoid that guy coming out of the pits. He would most likely have to go on the grass on the left and that's why he swerved right. It's all on the turquoise car

16:10 😂 saying he had a chance to avoid this is comical, the cars were still straight and out of the racing line until the last second

Jimmer with the 4D chess move "I'm gunna say he hit him on purpose" *Comments go wild and engagement turns into a straight stonks rocket*

Going to have to disagree on the Road America Porkers. The car at speed tries to brake (Speedo shows drop before contact), and move across the back of the turquoise Porsche coming out of the pits to try and avoid contact. Feel like it's 100% on turquoise car.

8:47 I think the guy was trying to go into the inside bc the pit car came up to the top

Good call on the retaliatory driving, there is zero tolerance for that in sim or in RL racing.

5:18 I feel like the Canada car, while not in the best position to hold that corner didn't really do anything wrong. I feel like the other car turned in quite a bit early for t11 at Laguna Seca. Maybe he was trying to defend the inside line, and misjudged, I'd lean more towards racing incident, maybe even putting blame on the other car. Also for the OP that's actually turn 2, as I recently found out. T1 is immediately after the start line, hardly a corner at all
