My wonderful English teacher always told us:
"Will and would must never go
after if as we all know!"
I'll never forget him nor this memorable sentence!

Thank you very much for this amazing lesson online. Your advice is more precious than gold. If I had a teacher like you in Hong Kong, my English would have been much better.

Using "three minute" meeting or "two bedroom" flat because "three Minute" and "two bedroom" in the contest becomes an adjective before the nouns "meeting" and "flat" respectively.

I kept learning even I'm now 71 year old. I used to improve foreign languages (French, German and Mandarin) by myself after spending a short term from school. Your lessons have helped me a lot. I do appreciate very much for your effort!

There is a typing mistake at around 8:00, example 8. Sorry. ☹️ It should be "In my country" not "I'm country." Does anyone know if I can edit that error without removing and re-posting my video?

Hi Lisa,
Thank you for drawing attention to the mistakes concerning "suggest." (...he fix vs. ...he fixes). But, A two bed apartment should be hyphenated (A two-bed apartment.)

I am not a native speaker of English and got somehow attracted towards learning English. Later, after a long corporate career, took to teaching English. Your presentation is amazing. I am inspired by the term 'subjunctive' form that you described. Thanks Madam.

Hi Lisa, I'm from London and I'm loving your channel because I'm a grammar wizard like you (getting close). When you teach us some grammar rules or even words which differ between British and US English, could you kindly highlight that for us whenever you remember, I just learned that 'afterwards' is 'afterward' and 'staff' is often accompanied by a singular verb in the US. That's only if you remember, I appreciate the fact that teachers do their best. Thank you

Thank you for these videos. I learned all of this sixty years ago, but gerunds, participles and subjunctives become grey if not considered actively.

Especially for German English learners your explications are very important and helpful. Excellent is this: If you try to understand how mistakes come into being.

Lisa, I'm so glad I found you. I've been in this country for 15 years and I still struggle with grammar. That means I need to practice more.
