How To Start A Manual Car-Driving Standard Lesson For Beginners

In this video, I show you how to start a manual car. There is a little more involved than simply turning the key, but its not really difficult. I try to explain it as thoroughly as possible in this video, so that even the most inexperienced standard driver will understand how to do it.

Before you even step on any pedal, first make sure the hand brake is pulled up, and the gear is in Neutral, step on brake and clutch, only then can you ignite the engine! Don’t forget to buckle your seat belt and check on all the vitals before that too.

My biggest issue, I press the accelerating pedal very hard so i end going to fast and panicking till i eventually stall 🥶 I’m currently in a driving school for manual cars

then press the clutch
Put the car in neutral
Turn the key once
then twice
Wait for the lights to come off on the dashboard
Start the car
then release the clutch
Wait for the car to warm up
press the clutch put 1st and you go thats it
