How do you get to the parking lot in the first place?!?!?

I felt confident after a few side roads. Hopped on the main road and proceeded to stall out 3 times on a hill. Everyone missed the green that day

First time driving stick was taking my car home from the guy I got it from. He only lived 10 mins away, but I swear that was the longest 10 min drive of my life. If you can, absolutely learn in a safe, large parking lot. You’ll avoid a ton of unnecessary stress and be able to focus more on learning, not holding up traffic

Here in the UK you must pass your test in a manual car to be allowed to drive a manual. I think that should apply everywhere. Got people licensed to drive manual cars on their own for the first time, on busy roads. It's mad

Bro I’m learning how to drive manual right now. I’m doing it in a fairly steep parking lot and it’s BADD. But today was my second day and I only stalled it 2 times. I’m learning on my dad racing car with a stage 2 clutch so it’s not ideal. But hey it’s working out man I’m learning fast

Brother you made this so much easier to understand compared to how everyone else tried to explain it

I learned stick in one day as a kid cause i had no other car to drive haha after two weeks it wasn't that bad. Still prefer automatic even though i do have a manual mustang i really only take it out on weekends or nights when you can have fun. Rest of the week im in an auto civic just trying to relax a commute like everybody else 😂

My driving instructor gets me out on the road man, there’s no time to focus on what I do, it gotta focus on not hitting others 😂😂

Enrolled in a driving school last year and the first day. First time I've ever driven and the instructor had me go to a gas station, get gas and then had me go into a busy fuckin highway.

That trial by fire shit makes you learn alot quicker. The anxiety is unbelievable though.

I watched a bunch of videos before I got my focus st last year, never actually drove a manual but from watching the videos I had the general concept down. Drove it home 45 from the dealer in the rain and only stalled once.
