Catholic Book Haul #14

Hey everyone! In this week’s video, I will be showing you four new books I will be adding to my Catholic Book Collection. I did not realize how recently I had posted the other book haul, so I do apologize if this video seems too recent to my last haul.

About me:
Hi! My name is Vanessa and I am a 22 year old (as of video date) from Los Angeles, California! I am very invested in my faith and found a passion for teaching others about it. My passion all started out due to the fact I wanted to convert someone to Catholicism to make my life easier when it was time to get married. Long story short, that person did not convert, and I was then left with all this knowledge about the faith and about Church history and no where to put it. So now you have it! I want to educate as many people as I can on the faith, and help them understand the truth that Christ has revealed to us through the only, holy, catholic and apostolic Church he founded. I am on my journey to understand more. Everyday I work towards educating myself more and more. I will never hit the finish line of studying in this life, I will continue to learn everyday. With that being said, I may hit some bumps in the road... maybe I will get a few dates wrong... and maybe even pronounce some words wrong (even the English ones!). I’m currently reading “The Experience of God” by David Bentley Hart, and it’s fantastic. I’m reading it for a theology class so it’s a bit philosophically heavy, but once you get to the meat of it, so good! It’s essentially explaining the rationale for the existence of God, the qualities of God, lots of things! Gives me butterflies reading it sometimes :)
