I was talking to my future wife about what we expected our of each other and ourselves for the future as spouses. She said something along the lines of _serve you as my husband completely_ i asked her to explain. Because i want a wife not a slave and I needed to make sure where she was in her definition of 'serve'. I am a muslim woman and it's our duty to serve our family. I have a phd and my salary is 4 times more than my husband, but as his wife, it's my duty to provide a good home that he can come to.
