My brother was a stressed out arrogant type of guy (tbh he was hard to be around) and he asked me for mentally I mean. I was working abroad in the Philippines at that time and told him to come and visit me. He did for a month and I took him to Mount Pinatubo for a week to help the clean up of the destroyed houses that left ten of thousands homeless. He cried one night and said "They have nothing....they have absolutely nothing and the people and kids always asked if I was hungry and warm or cold at night....they offered me whatever little they could find before themselves . There is kindness here I can't explain"...and he cried....because he realized it made me cry too. Over 30yrs ago and he's never been the same since.... he's kind and generous and loves the Filipino people as do I. 👍🏾❤️
