Don't forget that DLSS 4 is backwards-compatible with all RTX cards except for multi-frame gen, so the performance improvement will be *even less* on 40 series cards running DLSS 4 😭

Nvidia will never show what a card can truly do. No Rasterization, no raw performance. Just AI BS and fake frames which will make their new card look so much better than the previous ones.... Every Single Time.

The whole thing of ai frame generation is kinda really bad. My understanding is that it's basically just in between frame interpolation, which is notorious for producing errors. If you look up any video of this and look for fine details like hair, especially during fast movements, you're certain to spot flickering and errors like pieces of hair spawning and unspawning randomly, or the same for any other finely detailed thing. It fakes a higher framerate at the cost of accuracy. If it somehow avoided these fine detail errors it wouldn't bother me as much, but it can't, and I'm not certain it ever will either.
