I'm so happy to know axolotls are being kept in the pet trade hear me out
I'm from Mexico and I haven't seen home in a while. Seeing this endangered animal in the pet trade gives gives me hope for its survival, as back home it's highly endangered. I hope one day the axolotlt will be abundant in the wild, but until then all we can do is keep the populations up in captivity to one day hopefully reintroduce it into the wild.
