Before axolotls were a big thing I had two adults in a tank they then payed eggs and there was absolutely no information about when they would hatch or what to feed the babies but it turned out okay and there was about 200 eggs and 100 survived

I've loved axolotls for a long time and I own some and I'm so glad that they are more popular and people are learning about them and some helping preserve them which warms my heart I was genuinely sad when they had less than 1000 left in the wild it felt like not many people cared and now seeing their popularity rising and their numbers in the wild grow I've never been happier over axolotls

Fun fact: axolotls do have an adult stage like frogs. No it is not just when they grow to full size. It's rare to see because they will only complete the cycle while on land and quite literally live under a rock so they aren't equipped to survive outside the cave without human help.
