How to Charge iPad Magic Keyboard

It may be a bit confusing for people that use the keyboard for iPad or those who plan on getting one. It may not be that obvious for everyone, and if not explained properly, people may still be confused about how the battery and charging works with this accessory.

saw this video but can you explain why my keyboard stops working and only restarts when I have had it on charge without the ipad?

My iPad Pro USB-C port is malfunctioning. Sometimes it charges. Sometimes not. The keyboard could allow me to consistently charge it. I recently had Apple wipe out everything on my iPad including the iOS operating system. In order to get the iPad working, it wants to be plugged into the computer to do a restore. Although the usb will charge, it will not connect to the computer. Nothing shows up in File manager. I’m hoping I can connect it to my computer using the keyboard so I can get it restored.

My iPad Pro 11" fits, everything lines up and I get the message "This accessory is not supported. I updated the iPad software, I cleaned all the connections. Any other ideas?

My Magic Keyboard for my iPad has stopped working completely, I have downloaded latest software … and it just doesn’t do anything, I don’t see any dot on screen … it’s just died, a have cleaned connections still nothing …. Any ideas please
