iPad Pro Magic Keyboard Portrait Mode DIY Smart Connector Cable

I wanted my iPad Pro to be able to use the Magic Keyboard in portrait mode, but the current Smart Connector configuration does not allow this. With too much time on my hands, I made a short jumper cable.

My cable and connections orientation had more to do with the boxes I found to encase the connector (with holes on the small end) than anything else. Obviously, there will be many ways to do this.

Hello Ryan Davison, Is it technically possible to connect this cable to a power bank and not to the keyboard. That would be ONE MORE THING that Apple wouldn't release. The USB C connector on my iPad pro 12.9 2018 is defective. The repair is not worth it. A Smart Connector cable like this would be perfect. if you want to help everyone. This cable must be brought to market.

would it be possible instead of having a smart connector on each side to have usb c on one side? im asking because this way we basically could build a magnetic wireless charging stand.... :D
