Uploading a 15 minute video that doesn't actually have anything that's in the title is the true crime here.

There’s another 1 hour and 6 minute bodycam video of this on YouTube that was released to Channel 13 that has so many redactions, it’s still worthless!! Kudos to the good samaritan who witnessed the crash and thought it was important enough to pull over and go on record as a “witness!!” He apparently was the one who went on record identifying the vehicle that the Sheriff was driving as being the one at fault AND he reported seeing the Sheriff exit the vehicle in a “drunken stupor” barely able to walk after the crash!! If he hadn’t stopped to go on record and report what he witnessed, who KNOWS if the MSP would’ve charged Sheriff Lilywhite with the DUI and for being at fault?? It’s obvious by the “redaction” of Sheriff Lilywhite’s actual arrest and the muting of so much of the audio in the bodycam footage that the MSP released that is NOT normally redacted from other footage requested under the FOIA, that the “good ‘ol boy” system is alive and well to protect their own with privileges not afforded to the general public that they are supposed to be serving!!

I’m so confused at this video like is this after they arrested him? Or did he flee ?

Is it just me or did someone see a sheriff getting arrested?

Body cam muting should NOT be allowed when working on a case/accident/any police or fire department matter.

He was driving his department issued vehicle, drunk and it also contained several weapons. Including a shotgun. Vehicle diagnostics found he had been travelling 100mph prior to the crash. He pled guilty, was given 1 year probation - that's it - probation. And allowed to keep his job.
I would not travel through that city until they clean up the trash.

He whispered, "Turn off the camera."

At 2:04 you can hear him whisper “it’s on camera” to the other cop. Seems like trying to find a way to cover this up..,

This sheriff deserves to lose his job and pay thousands for the crime of crashing the county's vehicle into innocent motor vehicle and it's occupants. When it's our law enforcement officers are breaking the law they need to be held responsible at a harsher penalty and given longer sentences and should never be able to be a law enforcement officer, Sheriff etc.... Ever again. They should lose that privilege.

Maybe this is the video for internal affairs since there's no mention of any law enforcement person involved or video of anyone being arrested.

Uhm, the video title says, "Michican Sheriff Arrested After Suspected DUI Crash" So, WHY was he not plastered all over the screen like EVERY other DUI crash? Was he severely injured and he couldn't be shown, was he already taken to a hospital while handcuffed to the gurney BEFORE any video was taken, or he was NOT given his 15 minutes of shame because he was a Sheriff? At least he was named in the description.

IN MY VIEW
I found myself checking different parts of this video trying to justify why I watched it through to the end. Conclusion: Zero.

I truly hope that he gets the help that he needs for his apparent alcoholism. Thank God no one was gravely injured or killed.

If it was the Isabella Co. Sheriff, the judge would acquit him, and whoever he ran into would be charged with assaulting a law enforcement official.

Then because a cop is involved, it gets muted...BS!!

At approx 2:05 one cop stage whispers to another "Camera".

Car insurance pays for the ambulance, ER visit, MD bills for follow-up appointments & if you wait a day or two to go to the ER, it's covered. There is usually a deductible, but if you're innocent re: the accident...the other's ins pays for it. I hope they take that clown to the cleaners. 🤨
