LASD deputy arrested for alleged DUI after crash

Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy Carlos Lopez was arrested for suspected DUI after he crashed his cruiser into a ditch in Stevenson Ranch.

Negligence and stupidity. Leaving the scene of a accident and leaving behind a squad car. Probably a member of Sheriff's deputy gang unit along with the off duty deputy who got involved. They should have called in a K-9 unit to find him.

Fire both of them. If i did this at my job….I’d be getting a phone call to not come back to work and they will mail my final paycheck to me AFTER they deduct the cost of damages to the vehicle. I hate the double standard. If the man can’t handle the pressures of being a police officer…he should have sought help because nobody forced him to become a cop.
