Why You're Poor, Fat & Stupid

Показать описание
Your mindset, specifically the way you think about problems in life, is keeping you poor, fat, and stupid, and will continue to do so for the rest of your life, unless of course, you do something about it.

Maybe you wanted to achieve something like; finding a romantic partner, getting an athletic body, making more money, or receiving better grades, and you might've tried really, really hard, but you didn't manage to succeed.
And because of the setbacks and failures you experienced, you gave up on trying altogether.

But the worst of all is that you ended up with a belief that you were simply not good enough.

If you believe you're bad at math, then you're already expecting to get bad grades there, so you put in less effort to study, and then when you do get those bad grades, it reinforces your identity and your belief that you're bad at math.
And you subconsciously begin to resist taking actions that don't align with what you believe your identity to be.

But this is nothing more than a downward spiral of learned helplessness.

First of all, i just wanna say to the YouTube algorithm because i got found this greatness channel to improv myself better and better than yesterday. And on this video i learn so much for today, on of my favorite motivation from this video is "Don't think you can't do it, because you know you can."

I always thought that i can't do everything better, simply such as learn English better i always think i never become fluently, in it. When i tried to spoke with others i always think they will judge me because my English poor, they don't want to talk with me and it makes me insecure i dont want to learn English anymore. I'm furious with myself, i blame myself because I'm not like other peoples. I hate mylife, i ever think to suicide. Its bad..

But when i watching this video, it makes me open minded, i must do an extra effort to get something that i want which is my goals, its okay to take a small progress than nothing because small progress could become a big progress.

Thanks for reading my comment, i just wanna say many thanks to this channel ❤❤

Thank you sir so much
I am from India and have my chartered accountant exams (which are one of the toughest) I have been topper student throughout my life but everyone kept telling me it’s difficult and I can’t do it I developed the mindset of me not being able to become chartered accountant but this video made me realise again that how I became topper I never gave up and I put in lots of efforts and I never thought about failure I just thought about I have to do it and this is how I will do it and just trying as much as possible to complete my plan.

Thank you

This reminds me of a saying. Whether you think you can, or you think you can't...you're right!

Also, stop caring as much about the end result. That's not completely in your control and cause disheartening when it doesn't work out the way you wanted. Instead, take pride in the effort you put in and you'll only become better.

I climbed Mt. Rainer once already in my life. Probably not going to go for Mt. Everest or Denali, but definitely going to climb Rainer again.
