What I find hysterical is, the only people slating the Keto Diet are people who have Never Ever been on it 😊

I do keto and I don’t take MCT Oil except if I eat a lot of carbs and want to get back into ketosis quickly. Most keto experts on YouTube do NOT recommend the use of MCT Oil on a regular basis, in fact the opposite. It’s definitely NOT a staple of Keto lifestyle as the woman says! It’s just used as an add on normally to trigger ketosis in insulin resistance people. It is excellent as another tool in the Keto diet, lifestyle and therapeutic lifestyle. I think you should also look into MCT and dementia research. I had disaster pants once from too much double cream though (heavy cream in 🇺🇸 USA). Keto is amazing but no-one should be using MCT on a regular basis! 😂😂😂

Keto diet gives the impression that the medical profession or pharmaceutical industries would go bankrupt. In my case, I used to spend 5k (pesos) monthly for my diabetes medication. Now, I have normal sugar, zero medication. My wife followed the same diet, and zero medication now. We save 10k every month. We lose weight but gain muscle mass (work out in the gym), trimmed waist line, muscular chest, shoulders, and arms...yes powerful legs. Right now, I turned to Carnivore diet...for several months now, and my health gets better. Imagine for 30 years, I was diabetic reaching 500mg/dl blood sugar last year...and it's normal now. Thanks to Keto.

In any diet, if u eat too much, you’ll likely suffer from GI upset of some sort. “Disaster pants” can also come from supplementing too much magnesium on keto or any diet.

I am doing keto, it depends on what you eat. I eat leafy green vegetables with every meal, I use ghee, evoo, and virgin coconut oil to cook with, and monkfruit as a sweetner. I have been doing fine and have lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. I gave a little gas some days but it isn’t “disaster pants’ kind of normal just slightly more often. I have also been chewing gum so that may actually be the culprit 🤷‍♀️ I have a regular bathroom schedule 😳(sorry if TMI but that’s what the video is about). They haven’t even done keto when making this video so if you research the negative aspects of anything and that is the perspective you are looking for, you will definitely find it. I think as with anything people need to use their common sense and also everything is not for everyone 🤷‍♀️I watch Dr Eric Berg and Thomas DeLauer’s keto/intermittent fasting vids very informative

Thank you for sharing this. I have been trying to explain this to people ever since I started doing the ketogenic diet. This diet is designed for medical/medicinal purposes not for the average person. The unfortunate side effect is weight loss. Some people who need the keto diet don't need to loss weight, they need a healthy brain. Yes, I have epilepsy.

People forget that you can be low carb, wholefood vegan. It means a plan centred on non starchy vegetables rich in fibre, nuts/seeds, Quorn, soya, avocado, coconut, mushrooms, salads, herbs, spices, some berries, coconut, olives, fermented foods, resistant starch such as konja beans, cauliflower etc.

LOL...."I'm not seeing an upside" try being an overweight person struggling with weight loss. Along with exercise I've lost around 40lbs...however I am experiencing odd body smells...mostly underarms and sweat...like rotten weirds smell I've never encountered before. Bigfoot kinda smells ..no constipation issue. I agree..as a RN..this isn't a long term solution

The best deodorant/antiperspirant is a small amount of baking soda, dusted on dry armpits after a shower.

I don’t like MCT oil. It tastes nasty. You don’t need to use MCT oil in keto there are other oils you can use. I put butter and heavy cream in my coffee

Whole food plant based (low fat) vegan is for me the only way to go. I've never felt better in the years since I made this transition.

You do not need bullet proof coffee, because if you are fully fat adapted, your energy levels are super high on Keto!

They just can not let go, of the need to intake Caffeine in the morning, you do not need a jump start at the beginning of your day!

Many folks are trying to do Intermittent fasting, while on Keto, instead of intaking breakfast as they should everyday! You just went thru 8 to 10 hours of not intaking food! Go and eat some more fat, and the craving for coffee in the morning will go away!

Hm, but one can eat a keto/low Carb diet without ever using MCT oils or drinking bullet-proof coffee. That sounds like a recipe for GI upset.
I have absolutely no GI upset since cutting back on carbs and I drink my coffee black as I always have. I don't know if I'm in ketosis, and that was never a Goal, but I haven't noticed any bodily odors.

while keto did help me lose weight it always give me theses headaches, u say its normal but my doctor say otherwise. he put me into this diet plant which is agoge and i never felt better when on a diet. keto never is the best for everyone

The *Agoge diet* works best for fat loss. I tried the keto diet but it was so tough to follow and very abuseing on the body.
