The answer to the question: does muscle weigh more than fat!

NEW VIDEO EVERY MONDAY!

Basically, the answer is NO!! Muscle does not weight more than fat.

Which weights more: a pound of lead or a pound of feathers?

They are exactly the same!! The reason lead looks so small compared to all the feathers is due to the difference in density.

Lead is much more dense. It's molecules and atoms are packed into a smaller space. Hence, it takes up less space.

The difference between muscle and fat is exactly the same. Muscle is more dense than fat. As a result, muscle is more compact than fat.

This is the reason a a muscular person at 170 lbs and an overweight person at 170 lbs have a completely different body composition.

To sum it up, higher density muscle is more compact than lower density fat tissue, but in the end they weight the same if you have the same quantity of each.

Muscle weighs more than fat per square inch. This is fact. This is basic and 1 pound of fat take much more space than 1 pound of muscle.
