I watched this because I'm going there in 2 weeks, and got worried. But then I realized he wasn't using common sense, and had nothing to do with the safety of the slide.

Again the boys fault not anyone else. It was his idea to illegally go into a closed theme park to go down a more than 70ft tall water slide covered in big piles of snow with a sled.

I have gone down that pink slide with the crazy drop. One of the scariest things ever. I felt myself come off of the slide as I was falling down and immediately though it was over. I was still safely in the guards, but you dont think about that when you're falling like 50 feet.

We live in The Dells and I can tell you, common sense never is packed in their suitcases.

I felt bad for him until I heard he wasn’t supposed to be in the area. Unbelievable

This kid knocked on my friends hotel door at 2am last week at the hotel attached to this place. Each time he was asking "dad let me in" my friend told him you have the wrong room and he came back another night saying the same thing "dad let me in... let me in dad"
Long story short my friend looked up the hotel and found this story and it was the same kid that died that was knocking on his hotel door. This was just a few days ago.

I remember when it was Family Land, and those two were called "Demon's Drop" (the one he fell onto), and the one he tried riding the sled down was called "Dragons Tail"..
While the Demons Drop looks worse from its 'straight down' construction, the Dragons tail was always much faster. Even on water when you hit those humps, your body would elevate off the slide a bit. Can't imagine thinking you could maneuver down with it covered in snow.. jesus

I know this is 3 years old but to be honest, going down that slide in the snow seems fun af.

If the Family tries to sue and Mt.Olympus they single handily ruined every Mexican Chicago kid’s favorite vacation place

If he was 11 or 12 I could see it but I think at 16 he would be old enough to know better.
