Watching Arcade, who is probably one of the smartest guys in the wasteland, realize he just fucked up and try to backpeddle poorly will always be funny to me.

I will never get over the fact that the VA for Boone (Jason Marsden) also voices Goofy's son, Max in the film "A Goofy Movie". Yes THAT Goofy movie

The voice actor of Arcade is Zackery Levi who played Chuck in the show "Chuck" and now Starring as shazam in the live action Shazam movies.

An example of voice ACTING first and foremost. Arcade sounds shady enough that you know something's off, but not too shady, not *wink-wink, nudge-nudge* kind. You genuinely believe that he made a slip, realized he messed up and is trying to make a recovery.

Feel like most other examples people give in the comments are about good delivery rather than subtlety and story being communicated.

The voice cast for NV is incredible. Also, Emerson Brooks is the voice you hear most often.

The companions are so fleshed out I was just appreciating it the other day I love Cass's line " You come around like a bad habit"

I think my favorite va is Cass's everything she says is pure gold. But my favorite actual va scene is when you give Veronica her dress. The squee she lets out is just so heartwarming. ❤

My favourite line is "Reach for the sky, lady" said by the kid you can buy the C-Finder from.

In line with this I think some of Veronica's lines when you're deep in her quest and she has to decide whether to stick with the Brotherhood or not are really quite sombre and sad. Even more sad is when you remind the otherwise monstrous Dr. Borous of his dog. Quite disheartening.

And then there's Fallout 1 with the Overseer's speech at the very end. Incredible voice acting.

Legend says if you give Arcade full Advanced Power Armor mk.II set and bring him there you can hear "YOU MOROOON!!!"

This really is a great moment of voice acting where he has an “oh shit I slipped up” moment and tries to overcorrect and sounds awkward. It’s great tone and nuance to sell it.

God that clip hits hard. The mysterious broadcast music when you discover the vertibird. The almost shady and mysterious feeling. Multiplied by Arcade's hinting reaction which leaves you with more questions than answers.

I haven't found a youtuber who appreciates voice acting like I do. It's a nice change of pace.
