Not only is the voice acting fantastic but the writing is perfect and whomever did the voice casting knew what they were doing too

His ending where he survives is fascinating to everything we know. He feels guilt and sorrow about the Sierra Madre events regarding Sinclair and Vera. It's a very humanizing ending to a character who does so many horrible things. That and Elijah's love of veronica really showed how good Obsidian was at giving the most evil characters some sort of humanity. Really shows why they are the peak of this franchise.

Dean probably one of the most underrated characters in whole franchise. He is great, especially his speeches, his confession and explanation of motivations are bone chilling and its all due tremendous voice acting.

I loved this guy at the beginning of the dlc. Unfortunately, the further I got the further I explored and with that the cracks of this mans personality started to show. He has very high charisma but it masks his darker side and after finding out what he did to my girl Veronicas childhood sweetheart I came to the decision that Good playthrough or bad this man had to die never completing his 200 year old plan, heist.

Always amused me how so many of the standard NPC's in New Vegas had poor, flat bored emotionless voice acting but then every so often you would come across a charecter with god tier voice acting like this one

Dean was such a interesting character, the fact that completing his speech checks would make him turn against you because he knows you're smarter than him and cannot be controlled is such a cool thing.
Shame though that when you do get the peaceful option, and he seems like a pretty nice guy you find out what a rotten selfish bastard he is.
Even if Christine says she doesn't blame him for messing her up, saying she's done worse for lesser reasons. Knowing he wanted to rob a guy for just being kind, and blackmailing his crush just to do such.
Yeah, dude doesn't deserve to live, smooth talker or not.

it's a shame his voice actor is dead, he was definetly great in all the roles he did.

Funny, i used to played Dead Money with toggle god mode and sometime didn't know that the collar already blown 🤣

The entire casting of New Vegas is too good to believe. Every one of the voice actors is a known quantity in Hollyweird. I find it incredibly irritating that I can't find the Voice Cast Director and the company that was hired to provide the talent. Also, none of these thespians were paid a king's ransom. They did it for some work and turned a simple Gamebryo engine game into a lasting masterpiece.

One thing I'll never be able to understand is how Dean's voice managed to remain unscathed after becoming ghoulified. I'm definitely not complaining tho because I like how his tone is a lot smoother compared to his appearance. I'd say it's such a fitting contrast and no one other than Barry could've brought Dean's character to life in such a way. RIP, legend

I always forgets that if you use the dialogues in the brackets, Dean gets offended and betrays you at the end. What a great script writing for a character.

Dean's voice actor and the writer for his scripts is what made the Sierra Madrè for me. Simply superb job on both ends.

Whenever I hear "partner" anytime now I always think of how Dean emphasizes that word depending on his ending

I wish you had the choice to meet these guys in the Wasteland after finishing this DLC... Dean Domino is my dream companion.

Each character would fit in one of the games groups too... Dog/God would fit in a Jacobstown while he tries to find his true self,
Christine I think would benefit most hanging out with the followers and Domino could be an act you hire for the Tops.
