"Do people keep telling you that you have an amazing voice?"

I've been told that my voice is relaxing... Is it amazing? No, but I can fake it. 😄

I'm not a voice actor but I want to be.

Here's my advice: Lean into the way your voice sounds. You can slightly modify your voice and avoid straining it at the same time.

For me, I have somewhat of a mid-range or lowish voice. I can do some higher pitched voices, but it's much easier if I do a southern dialect.

If you're a singer, then you probably already know your vocal range.

I'm not an expert, but I have been doing voices since I was a kid.

My office currently has four furniture blankets, three blankets and about 5 big beach towels! Looks so janky but it is amazing how much it helps; there's a very obvious difference even when you enter the room without talking.

People tell me that my voice is "cute & pretty" and I appreciate that! And I did actually try to voice act once, when someone asked me to record a few voicelines for an indie game... The only problem was that my foreign accent made most of the sentences hard to pronounce and thus they sounded kind of unnatural 😅...

If I would be honest, I do know how to sing.. And I kinda know my vocal range when I'm singing.. But it's a different matter when I'm talking.
I always feel like I'm straining my voice every time I talk because people couldn't seem to hear or understand me. 😅 What to do? How can I know whether I'm straining my voice or it's actually relaxed and it's my real voice?

I can't do the step one and two, due to my family don't think the equipment would be way too much, and in my house there is never silence. I live on a farm next to a street, we don't know true silence
